First clip in our map,on the left side (directions) you will set the starting and ending point of your ride. Then you will have the route and the distance between those points. Take this distance (in miles) and multiply it by $2.50 and then add another $2.00 Drop Charge.
Besides those, you might have some other charges according to the Authorized Taxi Rates in Rhode Island:
- $2.00 For the first 1/10 mile (drop charge)
- $0.25 Per each succeeding 1/10 mile
- $25.00 Per hour for waiting time
- An additional charge of $1.00 per passenger beyond the first two (2)
- $5.00 Charge for each large item of luggage, defined as an item: Weighing more then 70 pounds or one that will not fit in the taxicab's closed trunk.
